CHAPTER 01
MediChat — AI-Powered Clinic Receptionist & Triage Assistant
Designed to operate as an intelligent 24/7 AI clinic receptionist, MediChat engages with patients through phone calls, WhatsApp, websites and Facebook, providing a seamless first point of contact regardless of how a patient chooses to communicate.
MediChat can manage routine enquiries, book appointments and conduct structured, symptom-based patient triage. Based on the information provided by the patient, the platform applies a traffic-light priority system, helping clinics identify patients who may require more urgent attention — from Red for urgent clinical assistance through to Green for lower-priority cases.
Where information provided by a patient indicates a potential medical emergency, MediChat is designed to immediately escalate the interaction and direct the patient to appropriate emergency assistance, including advising them to call 111 in NZ, 000 in Australia or the relevant local emergency service.
CHAPTER 02
Connected Patient Intelligence
MediChat integrates with existing patient management systems (PMS), enabling the AI assistant to securely access authorised patient information such as previous clinical summaries, medical history and laboratory results.
Before the consultation, MediChat can combine relevant patient history with information gathered during the current interaction to prepare a concise AI-generated patient and triage summary for the doctor.
This gives clinicians relevant information before seeing the patient, helping reduce administrative workload, improve patient flow and allow healthcare professionals to focus their time where it matters most — delivering patient care.

CHAPTER 04
Proven in Real-World Healthcare
MediChat is currently being deployed across three medical clinics in New Zealand.
Within the first three weeks of deployment, the platform handled more than 500 patient calls, achieving a reported 99.9% operational accuracy rate while demonstrating how conversational AI can support real-world healthcare environments at scale.
By combining AI voice technology, conversational AI, intelligent triage, appointment automation and healthcare system integration, MediChat goes beyond the traditional chatbot.
It acts as an intelligent digital front door for the clinic — helping patients reach the right care faster while giving doctors and healthcare teams better information before the consultation begins.
MediChat — Intelligent patient access. Smarter triage. Better-prepared clinicians.
